I am wondering if you guys are interested in an Advanced Fighter Pilot Training Course comprised of 7 Modules which comprise every skill you need to have to be a bad ass fighter pilot. Let me know if there is some interest from your side. Due to training efficiency, the Class will be limited to 10 pilots. Let me know if you want to join such a program, so I will post further details on it. If enough pilots are interested, we can agree on a fixed training day.

Attendance: Every training day will be scheduled in the calendar. As member of Class 1 assign to every training session via calendar features. Attendance will be recorded for each pilot. Every module concludes with a small examination. In order to obtain permission to take part in the exams 80% of the lessons in each module had to be attended by the pilot. In order to attend the final exam, every module exam must be passed.
Briefings and Debriefings: Briefings will be available 3 days before training day. Briefings contain mission details and the theoretical backgrounds needed to understand the subject. Preparation is being expected. Debriefings will be posted after each session. They are comprised of the attendance basically and the results achieved. This is the only material needed for the examinations.
The Training Day: Show up 15 min prior to training start time (2100 GMT+1). Each lesson will start with a quick briefing check. There won't be theoretical lessons. All you need to know is written down in the briefings. The training lessons are designed to apply the knowledge in practice.
Exam passing criteria: An exam is evaluated as "passed" if 85% of the points are reached in the theoretical parts and the practical parts have been carried out to the instructor's satisfaction. There won't be grades. It's either passed or failed. Exams can be repeated at any time. Consult the instructor to get a date fixed.
Examination Days: Every Examination is comprised of a small theoretical test and a bigger practical test. The theoretical tests will last 10 min. The following 10 min are meant for mission preparation. The remaining 100 min are reserved for the practical test. In the end, the results will be announced. The final exam is a pure practical exam. There won't be any briefing nor information. The pilots will be thrown into an unknown situation they have to manage. The only criteria for passing this exam is accomplishing the mission objective. This means, that the group of attending pilots either pass together or fail together.

I like the principle, would be nice to be a part of. I have questions: 1st: what's the mod used? To get EMS, it should be IES; but I don't speak for every individual of my group; 2nd: is there another team invited (french, English, German)? 3rd: is there more info about the rhythm (and have you done it before)? Once a week? In 1 month or 1 year? I know it's work in progress , but just to situate it in our calendar..

1. Mod used is IES2. No other team involved so far (It's EMS exclusive since you are reliable guys) 3. Training is once a week, so instructors have time to prepare next lesson and pilots have time to practise individually. Especially the Dogfight and shooting modules require extra training. The number of lessons are the very limited minimum to get the skills needed.
So, if interested, I do start the Enlistment period during which pilots can register. Once again. Class 1 has space for 10 pilots. We can talk about it on TS if you want.
I would schedule the enlistment period from Monday, 1st May 0000h till Sunday 7th of May 2400h.

Gents, since I still have to create some of the training material, let's say this training is a project for Mid August. Means we begin the Training in September. Should be enough time to discuss things.

Yeah right. We discussed that among the EMS. Here is a sum-up of our thoughts: -We really like the concept, as we are a procedural team (and we use to train our own procedures - the main concern is the English. As we know more or less precisely every topics, these courses would ne more for us "advanced" studies, needing (to we say "needing"?) to go for details; and details in English are going to be a really hard work for a lot of us. - this program seems quit long: 54 lessons, if 1/week, is more than one year long. -moreover, if guys like this project, it doesn't mean that one would be able to follow 80% of the overall program to attempt the exam. Thus, it is more probable that some of us are interested in some of the modules, but not all of them.
Eventually, as we have our owns procedures (a lot of) and we try to train and master them (long way for 25 pilots), we use to plan a calendar trying to mix trinings, missions and campaign/campaign training. According to the day chosen for this course, we would lose 10 guys every training day. Personally I'm interested ont his as I could learn different point of view or ways to do. It's the reason why I asked if other teams were involved, as it could have been intersting To share our knowledge.
I think it would be useful to discuss these points, see if we can maybe rearticulate the number of missions or things like that.
My last point, as an EMS leader, I won't refuse that somebody follow your course if its during a day other than or Monday / Wednesday.
C u tonight maybe? _________________
